CADETS IN THE OKANAGAN

THE CADET CONTRIBUTION TO LOCAL YOUTH-

The Cadets are an important asset to youth in the Okanagan Valley and have played a role in the development of many residents of this area. Thousands of young Canadians have learned important lessons about citizenship and themselves while wearing the uniforms of the army, air and sea cadets. They've attended summer training at the Vernon Military Camp and have many shared memories of their youthful adventures as cadets. A number went on to serve in the Canadian Forces reserves and regular force.
