PAST EXHIBITS

The museum's temorary exhibits are opportunities to showcase items held in the collection that can't be on permanent display. They also add some variety to the museum's displays so that you'll always find something new when you visit.

 

CADETS IN THE OKANAGAN -

This exhibit illustrates the history of the army, air and sea cadets in the Okanagan Valley with photos, artifacts and uniforms. You'll learn of the important role that cadet organizations have had in the development of youth in the area including the importance of having a cadet facility such as the Vernon Military Camp in our midst.

OPERATION PEREGRINE -The Canadian Forces Fight against the fires of 2003

This exhibit illustrates the critical role that the Canadian Forces played in the battle to save our towns and cities from the wildfires of the summer of 2003.
